65 Swarfix® WCT Operations – On Track for 90 This Year
Swarfix® WCT has now completed 65 operations and is on track to reach 90 by year-end. Development continues with a third tool size and preparations for future section milling applications.
Swarfix® WCT, the world’s only active downhole swarf collection and removal technology, has reached a significant milestone with 65 completed operations. The system is proving its value in demanding offshore milling jobs, capturing, storing, and securing swarf downhole in a container – leaving the remaining return flow swarf-free.
Currently available for 13 3/8″–14″ and 9 5/8″–10 3/4″ casing exits, a third version for 18 5/8″–20″ casing exits is in development.
The next step will be adapting the technology for section milling operations, further expanding its potential applications.
With more than 65 operations completed, Swarfix® WCT continues to set a new standard for safer, cleaner, and more efficient milling – improving HSE, reducing NPT, and delivering field-proven results.
