Swarfix is proud to announce the successful completion of the second field pilot of our most compact downhole swarf collection tool – the Swarfix® WCT 958 – carried out for Equinor.
Operation Summary:
– All Swarf collected during whipstock milling in 7” 29# liner section.
– Swarfix® WCT 958 positioned 565 m above the mill (@ 75° deviation) in 9 5/8” casing

Swarf barriers above confirmed zero swarf bypass:
- No swarf on string magnets
- No swarf on flowline magnets
- Blowout preventer (BOP) not exposed to sward
- Manual swarf handling by personnel eliminated
This confirms again:
Swarfix® technology effectively isolates and contains all swarf during milling operations.
