Successful Offshore Test of the New Swarfix® WCT 958
Swarfix® continues to drive innovation in swarf management, and we are pleased to share that our latest tool, the new size Swarfix® WCT 958, has successfully completed its first offshore operation for Equinor on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
During a milling operation in an MLT well from a Semi-Sub rig, the Swarfix® WCT 958 achieved 100% swarf collection, as verified by:
✔ 6 x string magnets positioned above the tool
✔ Ditch magnets at surface, confirming complete capture

This successful deployment has already led to the confirmation of a new operation with mobilization planned within the next few weeks.
The Swarfix® WCT 958 is designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve hole cleaning, and reduce swarf-related risks — ensuring a cleaner and safer milling process offshore.
